Mrs. Willow
20:35 min | Zimbabwe
Benny retreats to the mountains of Chimanimani, Zimbabwe, desperate for quiet and a break from city life. He rents an old farmhouse, abandoned for years but surrounded by breathtaking wilderness, the perfect place to rest and film nature. At first, the house feels still, almost frozen in time. Then strange things begin to happen. A child’s toy lies half-buried by the riverbank. Whispers echo through the halls at night. Footsteps move when no one else is there. Benny tries to rationalize the unease, but dread slowly takes hold as the house’s past seeps through its walls. Decades earlier, this was the home of Mrs. Willow, a mother killed during the Rhodesian Bush War after guerilla fighters locked her in a shed and tried to burn her alive. When she escaped, they took her life in a more brutal way, leaving her spirit restless. Benny has unknowingly invited her haunting in.
