Junior and Mamadou, two 14 years old boys, have everything to be the greatest friends in the world if their two grandfathers, a novelist, Louis Camara, and photographer, Djibril Sy, famous artistic characters of their town. They used to be very good friends. But because of an unfinished film that they wanted to make together years ago, they broke off all relationship and the two families hold a persistent grudge. To invite Mamadou to his birthday, Junior proposes to find a way to reconcile their grandfathers: they must find this forgotten film, and then, they will try to finish it. Therefore, each of them steals from his grand-father what remains of this project: a super-8 film, and the script. From these elements, with the help of a cousin of Junior, who works in the audiovisual field, they intend to organize the shooting of the end of “The Return of Mame Coumba Bang”, the unfinished project of their grand-fathers.
